Region 68 is proud to invite your team to the 30th Annual California Strawberry Cup and registration is open until March 15th, 2025.

Scope: |
AYSO Invitational – open to AYSO teams only from all Sections. |
|
When: |
May 17-18, 2025 Age Divisions: G10U/G12U/G14U
|
|
Where: |
The tournament will be held at the Pleasant Valley Sports Complex in Camarillo, California. There is no charge for parking. No pets are allowed at the fields. |
|
Who: |
AYSO girl's teams in age divisions: 14U (11v11) 15 players max, 12U (9v9) 12 players max, and 10U (7v7) 10 players max. All players must be registered to play in the AYSO 2024 primary season. Guest players will be allowed (3 maximum per team). |

What: |
Pool play tournament. Each team will be guaranteed 3 games in pool play, barring any unforeseen circumstances. Pool winners will advance to medal round play on Sunday afternoon. All games will be as follows: 70 min. for 14U, 60 min. for 12U, and 50 min. for 10U. |

Why: |
The 30th Annual California Strawberry Cup is being conducted as a fundraiser to raise funds for Region 68 Player Scholarships, field usage, maintenance and equipment fees as well as support for our Secondary Season program. |
|
Awards: |
All players and 2 coaches per team will receive a tournament gift and pin. All players on the 1st & 2nd place teams in each flight will receive a trophy or medal. |

Entry Fee, Refunds: |
$750 for 14U, $725 for 12U and $700 for 10U. A full refund will be issued if tournament is cancelled and cannot be rescheduled. If a team withdraws 30 or more days before the tournament, a full refund will be given. Within 30 days of the tournament, no refund is provided unless a replacement team that can pay the registration fee is found. |

Referee Fee, Refunds: |
$400, refundable within 30 days of the last day of the tournament if referee assignments have been completed. Each team is asked to complete 9 referee assignments during the tournament. Referees may only represent one team per weekend. Partial refunds will be given based upon the number of referee assignments completed. |

Acceptance: |
The application deadline is March 15, 2025. Applications will be considered upon receipt of complete information via United States Postal Service. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Submitting the online portion of the application is NOT considered complete. The 30th Annual California Strawberry Cup is an AYSO Invitational tournament. The main goal of the 30th Annual California Strawberry Cup is to provide a balanced tournament for every team. The tournament staff will determine which teams are invited to the tournament based on the team’s information, skill ranking, coach’s qualifications and whether or not they will be bringing referees. Timing of the completed tournament paperwork does NOT guarantee a spot in this tournament. Teams will be notified of acceptance status by e-mail. If a division fills, teams will be placed on waiting list. |
