Dear Participants and Volunteers,

Welcome to the 2026 Great Western Shootout Tournament. Originally founded as the Great Western Shootout Steve Gaylor Memorial Tournament, this event honors Steve Gaylor, a dedicated AYSO Region 112 volunteer. Steve established a foundation of teamwork, dedication, commitment, loyalty, pride, and respect—values that continue to drive the return of the GWS today.

We would like to extend a special thank you to the volunteers of Region 112 and their families. This tradition would not be possible without your tireless work and the time you generously spend preparing for and participating in this tournament. Thank you all for your continued support.

TEAMS & STANDINGS   

Tie-breakers
1. Head to head competition
2. Goals allowed (fewest number advances)
3. Shoot Out head to head result (if no head to head matchup exists, then most number of shootout wins)
4. Shoot Out goals scored (total)
5. Goal differential (goals scored to three per game less total goals allowed; highest differential advances)
6. Kicks from the Penalty Mark can be the last tie-breaker
